Places to visit
Sagres
Raposeira is located in the most western corner of Europe. The Sagres Fortress with its alternating exhibitions can be visited daily. There is a snack bar in the car park.
Lagos
Lagos is the nearest town in the area and has a yachting harbour, a historical museum (in the church) and a choice of restaurants as well as a long sandy beach.
Marine Zoo
The marine zoo with its dolphin display, seals, parrot shows, large shark aquariums makes for exciting family outing. You can have a cool dip in the outdoor pool.
Castello
In the coastal region of Castello you can enjoy climbing the rocks from beach to beach.
